Tartu Folk High School Training Centre was established in 1987. It offers training courses for adults. Our school is open for everyone who wishes to develop his/her talent, refresh one’s knowledge or learn something new in order to cope with life. We offer you various possibilities for self-improvement connected with your work or leisure time. In addition to training we organize cultural events, exhibitions and concerts. Every summer we have our summer schools in beauty spots of Estonia. Tartu Folk High School is a member of Estonian Popular Educational Union, Estonian Adult Trainers Association ANDRAS and Open Education Association.

Adult education process should not be only a local activity. Sharing experience with our international partners is essential for us. International contacts and links may be very important while improving our school and adult education methods. Recently we’ve started to offer courses also to ethnic minorities and we want to develop this direction. Social skills trainings are essential for developing active citizenship and to avoid social inclusion.

In Giresun Irish delegate Eoin made interviews with delegates from different partner organisations talking about Gruntvig-BRIDGE project
